Abridged Series? Yes please!

Hi! For the past few years, I've been obsessed with Abridged series. I've watched so many, from Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged to Yu-Yu Hakusho Abridged and I'm still not sick of them. I've been wanting to make my own for awhile, but I just haven't found the time and I've noticed that I'm not very good at creating new voiced. Though, when singing, I can mimic the person who is singing almost perfectly. Weird, huh? But, anyways, watching all these Abridged series has really inspired me to create my own, not only so I might be able to possibly meet LittleKuriboh or ShadyVox, who are my idols, but also so I can make myself known and maybe help my future is I decide to stick with media for a job. In all honesty, I'm shocked my head hasn't exploded from all the things I want to do and am telling myself to get done! Oh well, so is the life of a pitiful otaku~

Yu-Gi-Oh

Hola~ So, I'm back for another rantation. So, I'm thinking of going to school to learn some pretty cool media stuff, and I was thinking the other day, "Hey, if I learn this awesome stuff, maybe me and some of my friends should dress as Yu-Gi-Oh characters and take some songs from LittleKuriboh and act them out!" So now I'm hyped and ready to learn, which is new for me XD. I need to get in contact with LK or ShadyVox and ask them if that's cool with them first.... Yeesh, I have too much on my plate. Oh well, it's just the life of an obsessive otaku!~

Drawing Manga

Kon'nichiwa~ Sooooo, for Christmas I got these awesome How to Draw Manga books and thought that I should really try it out. Shockingly, I'm much better at it than I thought. So, that got me thinking. UTAU's are made by people all over the world, so why shouldn't I try? So, I got to work, drawing (and erasing.... a lot of erasing) until I finally created her. I gave her a name, Iyana Isadora, and a character item, Siamese Cats, and even gave her an age and a birth date when I realized she needed a voice. So, I got to work, testing my mic with my version of Audacity. That's when I noticed something, I needed a better mic. Mine hardly picks up any noise. *Sigh* Whelp, its a good think I've still got a birthday coming up, or I'd be royally screwed.... I guess this is just another way to be an obsessive otaku!~

Zelda and Chrono Trigger

Ohayōgozaimasu!!! Good morning to everyone!! I'm in a really good mood this particular morning because I found out yesterday that iTunes sold Zelda and Chrono Trigger music and I had been looking everywhere for those albums! Well, I must look no further! I must say that iTunes has put me in a very good mood. :) Now if only they sold some of my favorite Vocaloid songs....*sigh* Now to jam to the Zelda music and get my sorry butt through the Volcano in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Oh well, so is the life of an obsessive otaku~

Anime Con

Ach! Long time, no post!! Sorry about that. >///< Well, the Kaito Append has finally been released! Yay! But that's not what I want to talk about right now. What I want to talk about is the amazing world of Anime Cons. I've only been to one, and that was last August, so I'm still pretty new to this whole concept, but when I was there, I noticed something. It seemed like every booth I went to did not have one item that was not overpriced! It honestly was driving me crazy. I went with a little less than $100 in my pocket ( I wish I could say I still had that money today.....) and left with two items and about $3 left. Crazy, right? But, even though it was overpriced, it was still fun. There are tons of people walking around dressed as characters you've never seen before and a lot of them are very friendly and don't mind walking up to you, a complete stranger, and holding a full conversation. Now, I made the mistake of going as a Pikachu and had about 4 people dressed as trainers throw PokeBalls at me and one person even stopped me for a PokeBattle (staged for a picture of course.) Its very easy to feel as though too much just got thrown at you at once, but once you get over the initial shock, it really is a lot of fun! I decided that when I go this year, I will take a safer (and cheaper) route in costume by making my own Ishizu Istar (from Yu-Gi-Oh) costume and being a veiled priestess instead of a small animal prone to have things thrown at it. Oh well, I guess it really is a pitiful life of an obsessive otaku~
