Vocaloid Rantation
As an otaku that goes a little, oh who am I kidding, a lot over the edge when it comes to anything even baring the smallest trace of anime, I can be very particular. There are small things that annoy me to no end that wouldn't annoy most anime lovers. One of these pet peeves was that I love music (I mean, who doesn't?) and anime theme music was always the best in my eyes, but I also love musicals, like the ones Disney has to offer. I had been wondering for what felt like forever if there were any anime musicals that I would just fall in love with. I searched, but to no avail. I had heard about Vocaloid and looked them up, thinking it was an anime, and became thoroughly confused when all I got were music videos and no actual episodes. Well, when something confuses me, I tend to become curious; so I looked up this thing called "Vocaloid" and with the help of the amazingness known as Google (with some help from Wikipedia as well) I soon had learned almost everything I could about Vocaloid. After listening to a few of their songs, I fell in love. This was what I had been looking for! I soon became obsessed (like I do with every new anime) and filled a folder with all of my favorite pictures. I mean, what can I say? I was head over heels for this program and I still am. I downloaded a MikuMiku Dance software and began teaching myself to master it, and even considered making a Miku Desktop Buddy Application. I know, I go crazy over these sort of things. But hey, it's a pitiful life of a insane otaku!
